Hello Reno Families. After years of classroom teaching, I'm dedicating my career to helping our youngest learners build a rock-solid foundation. Moving from the classroom to private tutoring allows me to give your child the exact 1-on-1 focus they need to master early literacy, build deep confidence, and love learning.

On a personal note, I enjoy spending time with my family here in Reno. I have one daughter and four beautiful grandchildren. I also enjoy yoga, hiking, and camping.

I take a personalized approach to tutoring. I understand every student is unique and I customize my services to meet the individual needs of each student. I work closely with students to identify their strengths and weaknesses and develop a plan for success.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do you charge for your services?

Basic fee is $60/hour. Extra services, classes, and parent coaching will be discussed at the consultation meeting..

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to reschedule or cancel a session, please provide at least a 24- hour notice. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged the full hourly fee.

Adult presence in the home

A parent or designated adult over the age of 18 must remain inside the home for the entire duration of the tutoring session

Punctuality and Travel Time

To respect every family's schedule, sessions will begin and end precisely at the agreed-upon time. If a student is running late, the session will still end at its scheduled time to ensure I arrive on time for my next session.

Learning Environment

Please provide a quiet, well-lit workspace away from television, tablets, and loud pets so your child can fully focus and get the most value out of our hour together
